Workshops this week – future of local secondary education
The Victorian Government develop a long-term plan to transform education in the local area. It aims to give every young person the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Community consultation about the future of local secondary education is now open. The proposed changes will affect our current primary school students as they look to go secondary school in the coming years.
Therefore all families of primary school students are invited to attend a workshop on Thursday 12 October. You can register here: http://bit.ly/SheppEdEvents
Local educators have now developed four proposed options for secondary education – ranging from no change, through to significant transformational change.
These options will be discussed at the workshops. Community feedback will help form the recommendation to Government.
Community consultation has been open for three weeks – now is your last chance to provide feedback.
